Secret forests, sleeping inside a mushroom, cheesy energy vortexes, persistent cats, hummingbird ballets: we spent hours writing poetry, drawing and imagining a more peaceful world.
But like a snowball filled with gravel to the back of the head, 2020 reminds us you can run but you can’t hide. After listening to Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” on the closed down PCH under a smoke filled sky, it was time to turn up Taylor Swift, sing as loud as we could with the windows rolled up, swing the car around and head for home.
